Summary/objective

Hudson Technologies is seeking a highly motivated contracting and compliance professional with a minimum of three years of experience, who can work onsite or remotely. The role involves providing internal contract development and compliance support to the sales, marketing, finance, human resources, and operations sectors of the company. Responsibilities include managing the entire contract development lifecycle, as well as ensuring corporate regulatory and license compliance requirements are met. The role also involves reviewing existing practices, developing new policies and services, and ensuring timely completion of multimillion-dollar contracts.

Essential function

  • Manages the entire contract lifecycle program with a cost-savings approach including drafting and evaluating, advising sales and marketing teams on contract legal and sales risks of contracts that range of up multi-million dollars in consultation with outside counsel as appropriate.

  • Serves as the point of contact for and works with the company sales, marketing, and business including human resources, finance, and operations teams, as required, for developing and monitoring company compliance including certifications, federal and state licenses and reporting requirements.

  • Maintains accurate contractual and compliance records for organizational efficiency and legal compliance, often using electronic tools/systems to store documents securely.

  • Developing and implementing procedures and policies, ensuring that company-wide contract and compliance management aligns with the organization's goals and legal requirements, while setting and carrying out policies that set standards for accountability and mitigate legal risks.

  • Will lead a variety of contract and compliance program projects within the organization, as an individual contributor, as well as working in collaboration with cross functional teams.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required education and experience

  • Four-year college or university /associate degree, with a paralegal certificate preferred Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.

  • 5 - 7 years of proven experience in program contract and regulatory compliance management leadership roles, overseeing the entire contract lifecycle process, responsible for the overall management and coordination.

  • Proven track of success in legal compliance, including a strong grasp of legal terms and conditions, to ensure that contracts, regulatory and license programs meet all legal requirements.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Ability to collaborate and function in a team environment.

  • Location Woodcliff Lake, NJ (or remote depending upon candidate)

Preferred experience

  • Manufacturing and or service industry experience.

  • Experience meeting sales support KPIs and compliance auditing.

  • Prior experience working cross-functionally within an organization.

  • Prior experience working in a multi-location org with remote workforce.

Supervisory responsibilities - Manage outside counsel, experts, consultants, and contractors, as appropriate.
