Job Description:
The Department of Registration Services with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is seeking qualified candidates for a Registrations Assistant, which will be hired as a Program Assistant II.
The Registrations Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the Registration Manager by ensuring that all registration services are provided to Registration Services (RS) clients.
These duties include:
Working closely with program chairpersons, planning committees, and coordinators to plan registration services from the initial stages through post-event evaluation.
Implementing on-line conference, event and program registration services of RS.
Providing registration-only service available to departments of ISU, events held at ISU or outside clients/organization in need of registration database services.
Creating and updating event websites.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, boards, committees and a wide range of service providers. The candidate will also have the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. A high level of attention to detail and organizational skills will also be needed to oversee multiple registrations at one time that may vary in size and location.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
