Description:

Registration Technician supports student success by building sections and courses, enrolling students, and processing drops for all full-time programs in a timely manner. Verifies accuracy of data and works with instructors and staff across the district.

Essential Functions:

• Build all full-time sections and courses in Colleague based on Plans of Study. Work closely with Instructional Services.

• Retrieve information from CRM and process enrollments and drops in Colleague for all full-time students. Communicate regularly with Admissions, instructors and campus staff.

• Apply Prior Credit to student enrollment.

• Uphold data integrity by maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, following department processes, reviewing reports for inaccuracies, and making corrections to data as needed.

• Verify data for Financial Aid and Finance.

• Resolve duplicate student records.

• Perform tasks and duties relevant to any of various roles or responsibilities assigned by supervision and determined by management to be appropriate for this position; comply with all policy, procedure, regulation and other communicated requirements as may be in effect for the workgroup or worksite.

Job Requirements:

5 years of experience utilizing advanced computer software to process and verify student enrollments or related information. Experience using Colleague in the areas of student registration and reports is preferred.

Education:

Associate's degree. Direct applicable work experience may be substituted for education.

• 12 Month Contract

Hiring Range:

$38,123 to $42,082 annually dependent upon experience, plus $9,000 additional compensation yearly for salary-in-lieu of paid dependent benefit coverage
