Student assistant in the Registration & Records Department who will provide clerical and administrative support to visiting students and Registration and Records Staff.JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists students with registration processes via Navigate. Banner and Self-Service Banner.
Completing the CCA Admissions application.
Completing the English and Math Self-Assessments.
Scheduling students for testing and advising appointments
Assist students with how to apply and authorize their College Opportunity Fund stipend.
Assistance with signing up for a payment plan.
Help investigate prerequisite errors, time conflict errors, Department Approval Required Errors to effectively communicate errors to manager.
General questions regarding incoming and outgoing transcript processes.
Answer college switchboard or Registration and Records calls when needed.
Learn and uphold FERPA guidelines.
Supporting office initiatives: Calling campaigns, double checking documents for archive, and helping prep incoming college transcripts, and scan documents into BDM for archiving.
Other clerical and administrative duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Good customer service and communication skills.
Good skills with using computers, typing, copier machines, internet skills, etc.
Ability to understand and commit to organization policies.
Miscellaneous other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
Positive and kind to internal and external customers.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Must have completed FAFSA on file
Must be enrolled in a minimum six (6) credit hours
Must NOT have yet obtained 1st Bachelor's Degree
Must be seeking an eligible program of study
