Position Purpose: The Patient Service Representative / Rehab Tech role is a dual role that helps support the rehab services department including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. This position greets and welcomes patients and visitors, demonstrating strong inter-personal skills and a professional demeanor.

The Patient Service Representative / Rehab Tech is responsible for managing front desk responsibilities including maintaining patient flow, scheduling appointments, appropriately handling phone calls, validating insurance eligibility, entering demographics, insurance, and other pertinent information into the rehab and hospital patient accounting systems, and determining and collecting time of service payments at the time of appointment as appropriate. What You Will Do: The rehab tech role is a position that will assist the licensed/certified rehabilitation services professionals (PT, OT, PTA, COTA, SLP, ATC) in the preparation of patients for treatment, assist with certain therapy procedures to the patients, and maintains therapy equipment in a clean and aesthetic manner.

The induvial will assist with inpatient and outpatient services as needed. Schedule/Hours: Hours of Work:

Monday through Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm, No Weekends or Holidays Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Six months of office experience required Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current status. Completes Mandatory Reporting:

Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 years.
