The OU Registrar Office is looking for a new team member in our Norman office to serve as a Registration and Student Records Specialist.

Responsibilities Include:
Assist with processing grade change forms, retroactive add/drop forms and Incomplete Make-up contracts and forms
Serves as liaison with campus partners regarding Incomplete Make-up and Grade Change process
Serves as primary contact in Registrar's Office for questions pertaining to research on current and former student academic records
Manages Academic Records email account
Assists in processing transcript requests according to FERPA regulations and Registrar Office procedures
Answer in-coming phone calls to the Academic Records Office regarding potential complaints and needs of students, staff, faculty and public as presented
Provide information to faculty and students regarding policies which affect academic records, referencing university policies
Assists in the development, adherence, and maintenance of standards, policies, and procedures; documents business processes, office policies and procedures involved, audits documentation as needed
Assists with the maintenance of completed current and historical records (physically and digitally) for functional area to ensure quick retrieval of information and report
This position is responsible for student records management including filing, scanning and linking new and current student and purging student files
Primary liaison in Registrar's Office for students and institutions concerning Reverse Transfer
Performs all other duties as assigned
Required Education: High School diploma or GED, AND
Skills:
Ability to perceive where discretion is necessary and maintain the strictest confidentiality
Excellent communication skills, strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact with a wide variety of people (faculty, staff, students, and the public) in a friendly, professional manner
Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Customer service experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
