Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for performing student record functions to include processing of transcripts, verification of enrollment, and updating student academic records in BANNER and Degree Works. This position is responsible for the Academic Data Collection processing, National Student Clearinghouse reporting, updating/standardizing forms, BANNER testing and updates, data entry, and process improvement and implementation. This position also provides technical assistance as needed in the office and maintain the Registrar's Office webpages as needed. This position is responsible for process improvements such as withdrawals, change of majors, course substitutions, etc.

Reporting to the Registrar, this position is responsible for all technical aspects of the Registrar's Office and streamlining processes for more efficient and productive service to students, faculty, staff and visitors. This position will help office staff with reporting needs and technical assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Processes transcript requests and enrollment verifications

  • Provide reports to the Registrar as needed of student enrollment, withdrawals, and other important data necessary to management enrollment of the university. Will also provide reports to other university stakeholders and departments as needed.

  • Monitor the Registrar¿s Webpage for needed updates and recommend ways to use the webpage to better inform students. Monitor other webpages related to Registrar functions to be sure content is up-to-date and accurate.

  • Manage the Academic Data Collection processes to be sure the university¿s data is being reported accurately to the University System of Georgia (USG).

  • Process enrollment and graduation reports to the National Student Clearinghouse.

  • Develop and maintain standardized forms for the Registrar¿s Office

  • Manage and test BANNER updates to be sure we are compliant with new releases and processes as mandated by USG

  • Identify and lead in process improvements and implementation to better serve all students, faculty, staff and visitors to the Registrar¿s Office.

  • Monitor and audit the quality of data in BANNER. Update data as needed and directed by the Registrar

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for all technical assistance for the Registrar¿s Office and related areas.

  • May be required to perform job-related duties other than those specifically delineated in this description.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree OR high school diploma with two (2) additional years of related experience

  • 1 - 2 (one to two) years of related work experience

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, communication skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Proposed Salary

The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $44,500.00 annually.
