Northern State University is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Registrar. The Registrar plays a crucial role in managing academic records, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and regulations, and supporting student success. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a passion for higher education.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the maintenance and integrity of student academic records, including registration, grades, and transcripts.

Develop and implement policies and procedures related to student registration, enrollment, and graduation.

Provide guidance and support to students, faculty, and staff on academic policies and procedures.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve the student experience.

Manage the Banner student information system and other technology solutions.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accreditation standards.

Prepare reports and statistical analyses related to student enrollment, retention, and graduation rates.

Supervise and mentor staff within the Registrar's Office.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in higher education administration, a focus on registrar functions is preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of student information systems (e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft) and other relevant technology tools.

Strong understanding of academic policies, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and external partners.

Experience supervising and developing staff members.
