Base Rate: $19.64 Performance Pay: Available annually New hire experience: 1% of the base hourly rate granted for each year of verified like experience (within ten years) beyond the requirement, up to a five-year maximum New hire education: 1% of the base hourly rate awarded for an AA or higher degree if not required for the position Class/Calendar:

    Vacation, sick leave, holidays, matched retirement, health and life insurance OVERVIEW: To maintain accurate and reliable information about student records and files in a computerized system in order to retrieve and convey information to appropriate parties. QUALIFICATIONS: High School education or equivalent Moderate proficiency in typing, with good accuracy; excellent test battery; excellent knowledge and usage of English grammar; high math aptitude Computer proficiency to include use of basic software applications (Word, Excel, etc); experience with district based student database Synergy preferred Ability to operate general office machines and equipment; record keeping experience preferred; knowledge of school policies helpful Ability to organize, to prioritize and to meet deadlines with an accurate attention to detail while working with frequent interruptions and minimum supervision Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with students, teachers, parents, district personnel and general public Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Oversee the input of all student related data in appropriate Synergy files Obtain transcripts and records for all enrolled students; record transcripts for each student; evaluate transcripts of new students; tabulate credits for graduation requirements Calculate and maintain GPA and class rank lists; post grades and grade changes; maintain testing information on permanent files Implement the process and maintain records pertinent to the enrollment and withdrawal of all students Compile and maintain list of graduates and non graduates; order, maintain and prepare diplomas for graduation Oversee the printing of Synergy related forms and reports Work with assistant principal to build and to maintain master teaching schedule and in the organization of August registration Regular and on-time attendance required Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Assist teachers in processing grades, schedule changes and other student records data Work with Information Systems to ensure smooth operation of SASI/GENESIS Assist in maintaining class enrollment counts Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities Understand, remember, and apply verbal and/or written instructions or other information; understand, remember, and communicate routine factual information; understand complex problems and collaborate and explore alternative solutions Organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology; organize and prioritize own work schedule and possibly the work schedule of others Read and interpret instructions, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines; interpret written procedures and complete routine forms and/or conduct routine verbal communication with individuals via telephone or e-mail, speak and write effectively; express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, communicate verbally with others accurately and quickly Understand verbal and written instructions; understand simple to complex multiple step instructions; solve practical problems; analyze situations to define issues and draw conclusions Apply common sense in performing job; may make decisions which have moderate impact on immediate work unit SUPERVISION: Site Administrator Clerical test administered on line:
