SALARY: $32,745.00-$40,982.00 (or per the 2024-2025 Salary Schedule)
JOB DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or approved equivalency diploma.
Successful completion of business education secretarial skills training, or
A minimum of three (3) years of successful secretarial experience.
Or other appropriate certificates/licenses required by the District.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of office practices and procedures. Knowledge of and ability to use word processing, databases and spreadsheet applications. Skill in the human interaction and conflict resolution. Skill in the operation of standard up-to-date office equipment. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to plan, organize and prioritize activities related to assignment. Ability to carry out job responsibilities and handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimum supervision. Ability to type accurately at a prescribed rate. Ability to answer a telephone in a professional and courteous manner.

Principal or Assigned School Administrator
JOB GOAL
To promote a positive work environment by providing efficient services to students, parents, administrators and the public and to maintain accurate and current school databases.

(31) Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position.
(32) Shall assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force regularly to move objects.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District's approved compensation plan.
Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the District.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of personnel.
