The Opportunity

Our Houston, TX location is currently looking for an experienced Registered Tank Inspector to join the team. The Registered Tank Inspector is responsible for tank testing on Hazardous Material certified tanks. This position may be required to work overtime and will be responsible for testing at the branch office/yard as well as at various satellite locations and client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes;

  • Perform VIPK inspections;

  • Timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork;

  • Order parts as required.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • 2-3 years previous Tank Testing experience;

  • Cargo tank (CT) number is an asset;

  • Strong computer skills;

  • Driver's license with clean 5-year driver's abstract.

Rosemount™ is a signature brand of Emerson, offering a comprehensive line of measurement instrumentation, analyzers and systems which are used in a wide range of applications found in critical processing facilities such as refineries, chemical plants, power plants, pipelines, and more. Description The Technical Specialist will provide technical support for assigned Rosemount TankRadar products. This person will need to exercise considerable judgment and make decisions which carry a great deal of responsibility. Responsibilities * Perform Field Service commissioning and maintenance/repair of the assigned Rosemount TankRadar and Marine products which includes troubleshooting, calibration, and failure analysis. * Technical phone/email support to our customers and sales representatives. * Coordinate and make travel arrangements with customers. * Give product training to customers and sales. * Emergency on-call duties. * Provide regular communication, feedback, and status updates to the Service Manager as well as service job write-up and data input for customer invoicing. * Provide customer satisfaction through commitment to quality and safety. * Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements * 2 - 4 year technical degree in Electronics (AAS, BSEE) or equivalent military experience. * 2 years field service OR 3 years industry (industrial/energy/oil & gas) experience.
