Petersburg and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is 95-bed hospital offering the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period.

With 82 long term acute care beds, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. Comparably, our 13 bed ARU is designed for people who have experienced the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness. Located south of downtown St.

Petersburg where 4 th Street turns into 6 th Street, between 30 th and 32 nd Avenues, we have stunning, unobstructed waterfront views of the bay with easy access to public transit. Our clinicians play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients . As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) you will: Be responsible for administering safe and competent respiratory care as ordered per physician, monitoring mechanical ventilation, administering medications, patient assessment, understanding ramifications of hemodynamic monitoring, understanding blood work results, monitoring, teaching, and training. Qualifications As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) you will have:

Education required for Registry by National Board of Respiratory Care. Current Respiratory Therapist License issued from their state. Current credential as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). BLS Certification required.

ACLS Certification required. Minimum one (1) year experience in acute care setting preferred.
