Registered Respiratory Therapist

May function as a UA or as helping hands in the department when RT functions are not needed-Graduate of an AMA approved#program of Respiratory Therapy at the Registry level. # -On a yearly basis, to meet all hospital mandatory education requirements.

• Massachusetts State License as a Registered Respiratory Therapy Technician.

• Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care.

• Six month, Staff Therapist experience, preferred but not required.

• Highly effective and positive interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Effective problem solving, team building skills, willingness to participate in the education process, both as a student and provider of education.

• Ability to vary shift hours and days to meet schedule needs.

• Must meet the physical requirements of the position, as outlined in the job description available through the Human Resources department.
