Registered Pharmacy Technician II (Off-Site Location) (Full-Time

Skills/Experience Required:

In accordance with state and federal regulations, assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy. Assists and supports the Pharmacy Department with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals. Performs duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly, and filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.

Education/Experience:

Minimum required: a) High School Diploma or the equivalent. b) On year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail setting.

Licenses & Certifications:

Minimum: Licensed to practice as a registered pharmacy technician in the state of Florida preferred.

Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
