In addition to a completive salary and PTO, you'll enjoy the flexibility to structure your work week and hours per day. Your patient case load for be approximately 20 - 25 patients. Part-time and full-time applicants are welcome to apply.

Professional Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) - HOMECARE CLINICAL SUPERVISOR:

  • Perform initial and ongoing assessment of client status
  • Assist with establishing and revisions to nursing care plans
  • Maintain client charts, including write 485's
  • Daily clinical patient care
  • Administer treatments and medication according to physician s orders
  • Provide oversight of all direct and indirect care provided by clinical personnel to ensure that the Plans of Care are implemented and followed
  • Daily clinical documentation
  • Fill on-call role as needed

Specific Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN) - HOMECARE CLINICAL SUPERVISOR:

  • Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) to practice in NC and SC
  • 2 years of strong clinical supervisory/nurse management experience
  • 1 year home care experience
  • 1 year of pediatric experience
  • Must be able to work autonomously; however, training and support are provided
  • Versatile nursing skills
  • Must be comfortable with geriatric and pediatric patients
  • BSN preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of State and Joint Commission regulations to ensure compliance for homecare licensure

For more information, please visit 10A is a medical telemetry unit that provides 24-hour care to the adult population. This unit received the Heart of Nursing award recognizing each team member's commitment to process improvement and improving quality and safety outcomes for our patients. Patients are admitted with acute medical and/or surgical conditions, including: COPD, infectious disease, diabetes, r/o TB, pneumonia, fever of unknown etiology and fluid/electrolyte imbalances. A 24-bed unit with private rooms, 16 of these rooms have negative pressure features. Patient care services include but are not limited to: nursing assessment/evaluation, airway management and oxygen support, telemetry monitoring, intravenous therapy including cardiac drips, infection control, fluid and electrolyte management, medication administration, nutritional support, safety and discharge planning. This unit utilizes self-scheduling, with a fair rotation of shifts to the cover department needs. 10A is aligned with the CMC plan for Nursing and utilizes the CMC Professional Practice Model for the delivery of patient care, the AACN synergy model for care coordination, and Jean Watson's Theory of Human Caring as a theoretical framework for nursing practice. Job Summary Responsible for the direct provision of patient care and for assisting the manager with daily operations to include but not limited to coordination of patient care/outcomes, allocation of human and fiscal resources, communications, patient throughput, program development and oversight, patient, physician and employee rounding, selection, development, and retention of staff, clinical supervision and performance appraisal, performance improvement activities, service recovery and compliance with regulatory agency requirements. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served. Essential Functions * Supports the manager utilizing systematic approaches to enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, nursing service administration and delivery of care in the department * Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel in the department * Assists with coordination of communication at regular intervals throughout shifts via staff meetings/huddles to exchange information/ promote dialogue with teammates * Collaborates with manager to ensure understanding and compliance with federal and state laws, to include healthcare services and practice, while complying with all required regulations and policies * Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians at prescribed frequencies to gain insight into patient care, employee, and physician satisfaction and appropriateness of patient care and/or department operations * Delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with applicable legal or policy parameters or principles * Assists in identifying expected outcomes to provide direction for continuity of care/department operations * Assists in evaluating progress towards goal attainment/achievement of expected outcomes and disseminates information to teammates involved with the care or the situation * Performs nursing care, assists with treatments, therapies, procedures, and administers medications as necessary * Coordinates management of patient flow/throughput and staffing through continuous assessment of volume/acuity needs, utilizing resources available to assist in provision of appropriate staffing resources Physical Requirements Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Must speak and understand English fluently. Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch. Finger dexterity. Critical thinking and ability to concentrate. Education, Experience and Certifications Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Minimum 2 years nursing experience preferred. BSN required. Non-BSN candidates for external hire or internal promotion must be approved by the CNE and must enroll in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program. Previous management experience preferred. Appropriate professional certification (within 2 years if not currently certified) required. Current RN license or temporary license as RN petitioner in the state in which you work and reside or; if declaring a National License Compact (NLC) state as your primary state of residency, meet the licensure requirements in your home state; or for Non-NLC states, current RN license or temporary license as a RN Petitioner required in the state where the RN works.
