Responsibilities and Qualifications

A Registered Nurse-GN performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patients care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.

Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of Mercy Hospital Lebanon, the philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics and the Employee Code of Conduct. Job duties include but are not limited to: direct patient care, customer service, and performance improvement planning and evaluation. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, guiding principles and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Qualifications:

  • We require a nursing degree from an accredited school.

  • You'll also need a current RN license in our state.

  • Basic life support training should be completed in 90 days with advanced training required at certain intervals.

Responsibilities and Qualifications A Registered Nurse in LDRP coordinates and monitors staffing to ensure the delivery of appropriate patient care. Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups by functioning within the scope of nursing preparation and is consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice set forth by the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics and the Employee Code of Conduct. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, guiding principles and mercy service standards. Position Qualifications: * Education: Graduate of a state approved School of Nursing. * Licensure: Current RN with MO. State Board of Nursing or current RN MO. Temporary work permit. * Certifications: BLS or obtain within 90 days of hire. Current BLS or obtain within 6 months of hire.
