Novant Health is hiring for a Cardiac Cath Lab registered nurse for the day shift for our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, North Carolina. We're offering up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus as well as $7,500 relocation.

• Schedule: Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, 80 hours per 2 weeks, 10 Hour Day shift (7am-7pm)

We're seeking a registered nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team to support and treat patients with cardiac conditions. Working in collaboration with Cardiologists and other nurses, this individual is an essential part of our team - ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing complex cardiovascular interventions, preparing patients for procedures, administering medications and monitoring their statuses.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.

• Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.

• BLS certification required.

• One-year relevant or adjacent experience preferred.

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient pre- and post-procedure.

• Monitor patients heart health status while under sedation.

• Administer medication, and document vital signs and changes in status.

• Provide assistance in cardiac procedures, such as coronary stents, angioplasty, ablations, etc.

• Think critically and have cardiac knowledge.
