Description:

Provides professional nursing care within the Pulmonary Department, coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.

Treatment of Ventilator and trach patients.

Our nurses who work within the Pulmonary unit care for adult patients with trachs and on ventilators as well as other respiratory ailments. Registered nurse responsibilities include all aspects of patient care.

This care includes monitoring heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and respiration, as well as managing the pain and nausea. As well as working with the director of the unit, oversee staff, schedule and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).

  • Current ACLS Certification.

  • Current BLS Certification.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

  • Additional languages preferred.

  • Basic computer knowledge.

  • One year (1) year of Charge Nursing experience preferred.
