Summary

Reporting to the Clinical Leader or Clinical Manager and under the direction of the practice providers, the Clinical Practice Nurse 1 delivers high quality patient care including assessment, treatment, planning, and care evaluation. The Clinical Practice Nurse 1 uses knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, assesses clinical data reflective of the patient's health status and interprets information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs. The Clinical Practice Nurse 1 engages in caring relationships with patients, families, and caregivers, works collaboratively with the health care team, and uses sound judgments while performing nursing interventions.

Education

Minimum requirements: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.

Certification, Registration & Licensure

New Hampshire RN licensure and American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS required.

Experience

Demonstrated ability to effectively and positively interact with a multi-disciplinary staff, patients, and others.

In addition, may be involved in other areas of medical office support including clerical, environmental and organizational. Education Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. Successful completion of a Licensed Nursing Assistant program; or Military medical training with commensurate experience. Certification, Registration & Licensure Certification (CMA) or registration (RMA) required. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers. Experience With completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, no experience is required. Licensed Nursing Assistant must have a minimum of one year of healthcare experience.
