North Dakota State Hospital- Jamestown, ND - Temporary Registered Nurse II
This is a part-time on-going temporary position.
As a Registered Nurse II you will provide clients of the North Dakota State Hospital with quality nursing care by performing and supervising professional level, generalized and psychiatric nursing functions. You will provide direct patient care including administering medications and treatment as well as completing nursing assessments.
You will assess clients' behavior and treatment progress and develop, implement, and revise Nursing Care Plans as necessary. You will also assist in formulating treatment programs. In addition, you will coordinate personnel to maintain a therapeutic environment, conduct performance appraisals, and provide leadership and positive role modeling for unit staff.
The ND State Hospital delivers quality nursing care to all clients in accordance with Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Practice Standards developed by the American Nurses Association.
To be considered for this position, you will need licensure as a Registered Nurse by the North Dakota Board of Nursing or registration in another state and meet the eligibility requirements for licensure in ND, and one year of work experience as a Registered Nurse. Satisfactory criminal background check and drug testing is required.
