This is a Full Time Day Temporary position at NewYork-Presbyterian\Queens

Preferred Criteria

  • At least two years of acute care RN experience

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

  • Current New York State RN license

  • BCLS certification; Specialty certification a plus

VIEW JOBS 10/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-13T00:00 Temporary Location: New York, NY Position Summary: This role will be a member of the Employee Experience team and will contribute to the success of the employee population by participating in various initiatives that engage the SiriusXM + Pandora employees. This person will support and participate in new hire orientation and onboarding, company events and initiatives, internal communications and much more. Duties and Responsibilities: * Send and track new hire communications to ensure new hires are set up for day 1 orientation. Communications include welcome emails, manager onboarding emails and day 1 check-in emails. * Prepare and distribute New Hire packets for day 1 orientation. Ensure new hires have access to relevant buildings ahead of starting. * Host New Hire orientation for part-time and temp employees -- both local and remote. * Perform I-9 verifications for all types of new hires and collect other required new hire documentation. * Coordinate and facilitate events, both company-wide and internship related. Act as an on the ground contact for all NY based events -- tasks include booking conference rooms, partnering with facilities, IT and security on setup and visitor access, ordering catering, etc. Events include but are not limited to trainings, brown bag lunches, new hire lunches, holiday festivals, D&I gatherings, etc. * Support internal communications workstream by drafting ad hoc communications when needed for day to day comms from HR and/or other teams at the request of the Internal Comms Senior Manager. * Support deployment of the new hire onboarding survey and aggregate results for leadership review. * Collaborate with the CSR Program Manager and research VTO opportunities to ensure we have a bank of opportunities available across the country. * Other duties as assigned/needed. Supervisory Responsibilities: * None Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred or equivalent, relevant experience. * 0+ years of experience as a coordinator within HR preferred. Other relevant experience to be considered in lieu of HR experience. Requirements and General Skills: * Good public speaking and presentation skills. * Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently and in a team environment. * Ability to pay attention to details and be organized. * Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person. * Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles. * Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects. * Spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills. * Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Must have legal right to work in the U.S. Technical Skills: * Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). * Willingness to learn new tools.
