Registered Nurse Telemetry

NCG Associates is a leading healthcare staffing company that is dedicated to providing top-notch healthcare professionals to medical facilities across the country. We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Telemetry unit. As an RN in our telemetry department, you will play a crucial role in the monitoring and care of patients with heart disease, heart failure, and other serious medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms
• Assess and provide care to patients with heart diseases, heart failure, and other serious medical conditions
• Administer medication and perform various diagnostic tests
• Manage and document patient information and progress
• Educate patients and their families on cardiac health and self-care practices

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry experience in a hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of Telemetry nursing principles and practices
• Ability to assess and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software

Pay Rate: $1,980 weekly@36hours

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Length of Assignment: 14

Hours per Week: 36

Shift and Time: 12hr Nights: 1845-0715

Weekend Rotation: Every Other Weekend

On-call Requirements: None

Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs

Floating Requirements: Will float to all acute care units

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years recent Tele experience in the last 18 months in a Hospital setting, Must have a minimum of 1 year travel exp.

License Required: KS RN or Compact RN License

Certificates Required:
BLS & ACLS

NOTE THIS IS NOT A REMOTE JOB BUT THE JOB WILL BE AT AN HOSPITAL

Additional Requirements: The facility is a 300-bed acute care hospital facility, that is currently seeking a RN for their Medical Surgical team.

-RN ratio is 5:1 -CNA/PCT support this team We are seeking a RN with the following experience:

-General Surgery, Bariatric, Gynecological, Urology and Orthopedics

-Medical diagnosis: cellulitis, back pain, kidney stones

-Heparin Drips, TPN, PCAs -Ability to measure and interpret a telemetry rhythm

-Team nursing approach Our Medical Surgical unit is made of 70 beds, over 3 units on one floor. The team is supported by a Nurse Manager, Unit Based Educator, Unit Coordinator (Charge RN) out of staffing and Patient Care Techs (CNAs).
