Registered Nurse- Telemetry

NCG Associates is a reputable healthcare staffing company known for its exceptional onboarding and recruitment services. We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Telemetry unit. As an RN at NCG Associates you will have the opportunity to care for patients with diseases like heart disease, heart failure or other serious medical issues which require consistent monitoring

Responsibilities

• Care for patient with heart diseases, hear failure or other serious medical issues which require consistent monitoring
• Monitors EKG output and keeps doctors informed of any change
• Recording vital signs, including oxygen levels, blood pressure, breathing patterns, etc
• Monitoring patient progress and updating patient medical records as needed
• Responds to patients experiencing cardiac pain
• Performs various diagnostic test
• Managing and administering medication
• Monitoring and using the electrocardiogram, EKG, or ECG
• Educating patients on cardiac health
• Administering tests, analyzing lab results, then reporting to the physician
• Managing patient care, and giving them care instructions before they go home

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 2 years recent Telemetry experience in the last 18 months in a Hospital setting, Must have a minimum of 1 year travel exp
• Strong knowledge of Telemetry nursing principles and practices
• Ability to assess and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software

Pay Rate: $1,746-$1,890 Weekly depending on your experience

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Length of Assignment: 14 Weeks:

Hours per week; 36hrs

Shift and Time: 12hr Nights; 1845-0715

Weekend Rotation: Every Other Required

On-call Requirements: None

Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs

Floating Requirements: Will float to all acute care units

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years recent Telemetry experience in the last 18 months in a Hospital setting, Must have a minimum of 1 year travel exp.

License Required: KS RN or Compact RN License

Certificates Required:BLS & ACLS
