Registered Nurse - Team Member Health

The Team Member Health Registered Nurse Provides professional nursing care to patients. Performs patient check in duties, observes, assesses, performs nursing diagnosis, with intervention and evaluation of care of the patient as directed by providers.

Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents. Obtains vital signs, collects immunization and vaccination information, collects samples, such as blood and urine for testing and may perform routine laboratory tests, where applicable.

Maintains up to date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team, to ensure quality care. Appropriately operates clinical equipment. Answers patient calls and requests in a timely manner.

Maintains current knowledge/certification/licensure. Assist in other duties as assigned to support the operational needs of the department and organization. May be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
