About this role

Under direct supervision of the Health Services Administrator (HSA), Program Manager (PM), or higher medical professional, the Registered Nurse Supervisor will review staffing at the change of a shift and assigns and replaces staff to meet patient care needs. the Registered Nurse Supervisor will complete patient care rounds, coordinates admissions, transfers and /or discharges and ensures appropriate documentation and in compliance with all agency, local, state, federal laws and regulations.

What you bring to the table


  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing


  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience; correctional/detention facility experience preferred


  • Current (and must maintain) unrestricted Registered Nursing license, certification or registration in state of practice Current (and must maintain) lifesaving BLS certification through AHA

What you will do

Perform daily sick call as needed utilizing standardized procedures and communicating with the physician for any conditions that may fall outside the scope of standardized procedures. Work collaboratively with custody staff to determine scheduling of activities on a daily basis to ensure access to care. Review and respond to persons served grievances at the first level Respond to man down or emergency calls throughout the facility. Attend meetings with staff as needed. Schedule nursing shifts for the facility and communicate scheduling needs to the Health Services Administrator, Assistant Health Services Administrator, and Director of Nursing. Supervise the RNs/LVNs on duty. Inventory and order supplies. Perform Quality Assurance audits. Assists in the job shadow portion of the interview process of potential staff. Assists in the orientation and training of new employees. Responsible for the performance evaluations and successful training of direct reports. Perform other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, responsible and driven to maintain positive relations with our vendors and internal team. This role, reporting to the Accounting Manager, works directly with employees at all levels and will be a contributor to the department's success. Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities: * Management and coordination of monthly A/P and P/O closing per company deadlines, including appropriate journal entries, sub-ledger and general ledger account reconciliations, and fluctuation analysis. * Ensure day-to-day tasks are completed in order to meet processing deadlines, which includes preparing weekly payment runs and ACH/Wire payment processing. * Serve as the primary AP lead in P2P system implementation and projects. * Evaluate and reconcile assigned vendor statements and inquiries. * Ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations (including 1099's) and reporting requirements, as well as adherence to company Policies and Controls. * Ensure proper authorization including managing departmental signoff for invoices and purchase orders. * Participate in the financial close process; produce work papers and PBCs within assigned timeframes. * Support the annual audit and quarterly reviews with the external auditors. * Establish departmental KPI performance measurements. * Establish and review progress reporting which includes but not limited to A/P Aging, Payment Holds, Open Purchase Orders, and in-process requisition reports. * Provide excellent customer service to suppliers and internal teams such as Operations by resolving questions and issues quickly and accurately. * Be a key player in designing and implementation of policies, scalable processes and systems to streamline or eliminate manual work. * Ad hoc projects and analysis as required by management. Education: * Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Essential Skills & Experience Requirements (required): * 7+ years of relevant Accounting experience including in a Public Company. * Minimum of 5 years in similar role building an A/P department that has optimized the P2P life cycle. * Strong background in two and three-way matching for COGS and other invoices. * Experience with NetSuite financial software. * Strong understanding and experience with A/P, P/O and General Ledger month-end close process including reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts and management reporting as required. * Detail oriented, with the ability to be organized with focus, analytical, and able to consider the big picture. * Excellent understanding of state and federal guidelines for 1099 reporting, sales and use tax. * Ability to thrive in a flexible, team-based environment and ability to learn/adapt quickly. * Excellent written, verbal, and collaboration skills. * Competent in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook) required. * Flexible with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. * Ability to understand and operate in an environment with regulatory/compliance requirements. * Respect for confidentiality. Preferred Skills & Experience Requirements: * Prior SOX experience. * CPA a plus. * Experience in accounting in the manufacturing and/or automotive industry. * Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
