Registered Nurse Supervisor - 3Rd Shift - South Mountain Restoration Center, Franklin County

Situated in the beautiful mountains near Michaux State Forest, South Mountain Restoration Center, is a long-term care skilled nursing home facility operated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will communicate and collaborate on a regular basis with the Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager 1, and the supervisors of the other shifts to provide consistent continuity of care and supervision. You will also assure the planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care based on standards of nursing and gerontological practice and standards of resident care through supervision of nursing staff.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment (40-hour work week)

• Work hours are 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM), with rotating on and off duty days, including weekends and holidays. May change based on operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Three years as a Registered Nurse (commonwealth title); or

• Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.

Special Requirements:

• All positions require active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.

• All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

Other Requirements:

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

• A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination.

• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

• Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
