Join our team at the Anamosa State Penitentiary! This position performs professional nursing tasks in a clinical role in the management of the nursing care of clients in a correctional facility.
The qualified individual must be a registered nurse with a current State of Iowa license, be certified in CPR, be able to triage, adapt to changing environments, have professional communication skills and be a role model. A background in mental health would be a benefit, but is not required.

Anamosa Iowa sits upon the junction of Buffalo Creek and Wapsipinicon River. Wapsipinicon State Park hosts in Anamosa as one of Iowa's oldest state parks.
It is located on the southwest end of Anamosa. The state park offers camping, fishing, golfing, and hiking. Anamosa was named as the Pumpkin Capital of Iowa by the Iowa State Legislature in 1993.
The town got its name due to hosting a Pumpkinfest, a pumpkin festival and weigh-off, every year in October.
