Registered Nurse

Location: Lady Lake, FL (Santa Fe Surgery Center)

Job Summary:

The registered nurse will be responsible for providing patient care in the surgical setting. This includes pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care. The nurse will work closely with the surgical team to ensure that patients receive the highest quality care possible.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients prior to surgery and develop a plan of care

• Administer medications and anesthesia as ordered by the surgeon

• Monitor patients during surgery and adjust care as needed

• Assist with post-operative care and discharge planning

• Document patient care in the electronic medical record

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the surgery center

Requirements:

• Current Florida RN license

• BLS and ACLS certification

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
