Registered Nurse

Location: Lady Lake, FL (Santa Fe Surgery Center)

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing patient care in the surgical setting. This includes pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care. The RN will work closely with the surgical team to ensure that patients receive the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status and develop individualized care plans

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the physician

• Assist with surgical procedures and provide intra-operative care

• Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

• Maintain accurate and complete patient records

• Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Florida

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
