Registered Nurse (Rn) Surgery

We are looking for an experienced Surgical RN to join our Team! Valley View Hospital is a Level III trauma center with 4 state-of-the-art surgical suites and a 5th surgical suite being built. We offer Robotics (Exactech, Mako, Stealth, DaVinci), General, Eyes, Ortho, Brain/Spine, OB-GYN, ENT, Neuro, Plastics, Urology, Peds, Ortho/Spine Trauma.

This position is working 4-10 hour day shifts per week, 7:00am

• 5:30pm, with rotating evening/weekend call.

Requirements:

• Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain

• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

• Current ACLS Certification or obtained within 6 months of hire. (AHA)

• 2 years intraoperative RN experience with routine surgical skills in circulating is required; scrub experience is a plus.

• Position involves rotating evening/night/weekend call.

SALARY RANGE

• $33.99 - $49.98/hour (BSN)

• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.

• Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for RN-ADN, BSN, MSN

• $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm.

• $4.00/hour night shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 11:00pm

• 7:30am.

• $4.25/hour weekend differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm on Friday and 7am on Sunday.
• $10,000 Sign-on Bonus - (2-year commitment required/Internal candidates not eligible for sign-on

Annual OR Retention Incentive of up to $31,604 - subject to taxable withholding.

• Annual OR Retention Incentives includes $1592/month paid on the second paycheck of the month, from January 2024-December 2024.

• Remaining Annual OR Retention bonus will be pro-rated based on your FTE and will be paid in January 2025.

• Must be employed at the time any of the above payments are made.

• Must work a minimum of 1872 hours in 2024 to receive the full retention bonus.
