Registered Nurse (Rn) Step Down

Position Title: Step Down RN Department:

Nurse Staffing Shift Timings: 19:00 - 07:30 (12-hour shifts, 3 days per week) Weekly Hours: 36 hours Pay Rate: Non-local Rate: $52.38 per hour (including taxable component of $39.13 per hour and per diem of $13.25 per hour) Local Rate (within 50 miles): $41.65 per hour Summary: The Step Down RN is responsible for implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating care across disciplines, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in a step-down unit.

This role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment. Roles & Responsibilities: Implement and monitor patient care plans effectively.

Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Act as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Document and execute physician and nursing orders.

Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team. Utilize critical thinking skills and make decisive judgments while working with minimal supervision. Operate efficiently in a stressful environment.

Follow Standard Precautions and use personal protective equipment as required. Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of experience in PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care required.

Ability to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.

Must have Green Card or be a US Citizen. Required Skills: RN Step Down Traveler Step Down RN Certifications & Clearance Requirements:
