Positions available include working every other weekend and every other holiday:

  • Days 6:00 a.m.
  • 2:30 p.m. - every other weekend (16 hours per pay period)
  • Evenings 2:00 p.m.
  • 10:30 p.m. - part-time (16

  • Overnights 10:00 p.m.
  • 6:30 a.m. - part-time (48

Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our five Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, Robbinsdale and Woodbury.

Responsibilities

Evaluates/assess documents, directs and provides nursing care. Communicates status changes to family members or responsible party. Informs house supervisor and medical provider of changes or needs. Performs all duties consistent with Quality Standards and infection control practices. Performs all job functions within State and Federal Regulations.

Special knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proven history of good judgement and integrity

  • High level of commitment to compassionate customer service

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident

  • Working knowledge of personal computers and related software

Provides excellent customer service. Performs related work as directed. Registered Nurses are advocates in implementing our mission of &quot;To affirm the right to reproductive and sexual health and freedom for all by providing excellent care, trusted education, and fierce advocacy.&quot; They may perform other related duties to support health center operations as assigned.</p><p>Schedule: Monday</p><ul><li><p>Friday 9:15am</p></li><li><p>5:30pm</p></li></ul><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>This position will impact us with the following contributions:</p><ul><li><p>Interview and screen patients, conduct patient history review, document in electronic medical record, prepare patients for examinations/procedures. Assess, address or triage patient complaints. Monitor patient vital signs.</p></li><li><p>Perform routine laboratory tests including venipuncture. Communicate lab test results. Assure appropriate follow-up of lab reports. Process receipt of incoming lab results.</p></li><li><p>Provide factual patient education. Provide additional education in consultation with clinician or physician assessment. Including explanations of all FDA approved birth control methods. Provide unbiased specific instruction on the client's selected birth control method.</p></li><li><p>Inform patients in a non-directive manner about all options available to them in the event of an unintended pregnancy and provide supporting materials and/or education for service based on the patients' needs.</p></li><li><p>Provide factual, unbiased information to clients seeking abortion.</p></li><li><p>Describe the difference between medication and surgical abortion.</p></li><li><p>Refer patients per protocol, perform follow-up functions, and assure complete documentation of care plan.</p></li><li><p>Follow all federal, state, and local laws regarding mandated reporting, abortion services, healthcare services, and HIPAA.</p></li><li><p>Provide contraceptive supplies, medications including injectables, perform venipuncture, and manage patients with medical emergencies per PPNCS protocols Assure inventory control of clinic and contraceptive supplies including ordering, stocking, and tracking as assigned.</p></li><li><p>Communicate PPNCS protocols, policy and procedures to clinicians and staff as appropriate.
