Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 30 years, serving those that struggle with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112 bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. Roxbury Treatment Center is a STAR LRP-approved facility. STAR LRP is a Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program, and is intended for individuals working in either a full-time substance use disorder (SUD) treatment job that involves direct patient care in a county where drug overdose death exceed the most current national average overdose death rate per 100,00 people, as reported by the CDC; or a Mental Health Professional Shortage Area. As such, staff with 6 or more years of servce would be able to have their student loans paid off (up to $250,000).
The Registered Nurses are an integral part of our behavioral health team, providing professional nursing care, on our acute psychiatric units, in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center. The Registered Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practices on the unit under the direction of the nurse manager or DON.

Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. One year prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing preferred. Licensure and registration by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners as a registered nurse.
