Join our Trauma and Stroke Step Down Unit which has 20 beds (12 PCU and 8 Medical Surgical). This fast-paced, busy unit sees patients who come directly from the Trauma ER or ICU. There is CNA bedside support with a nurse to patient ratio of 3:1 for Step Down and 4:1 for Medical Surgical.

This position is a 12 hour full time (72 hours per pay period) day shift position with benefits.
Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
One (1) year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting within hospital environment.
California Registered Nurse License
Current BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association) and NIHSS certification
Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Six (6) months of RN Progressive Care experience
