View Point Health is a community behavioral health center utilizing a team of psychiatrists, nurses, licensed counselors and social workers, and other professionals to provide services to individuals who need treatment and support to cope with mental illness, substance abuse, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. View Point Health serves uninsured, underinsured, low-income Medicaid, Medicare, war veterans and some private insurance across multiple locations with a full continuum of behavioral health services and support. The services provided by View Point Health contribute to the reduction in homelessness, reduction in crime and subsequent incarcerations, higher graduation rates, lower dropout rates, decreased ER visits and decreased inpatient admissions.

We are one of 23 agencies created by the state of Georgia to provide a safety net of care for Behavioral Health, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (IDD), and Substance Use/Abuse. View Point Health proudly provides outpatient, inpatient, and community treatment to children, adolescents and adults. We promote overall health and quality of life through treatment services (evidenced-based therapies and medication management) that reduce the impact of mental illness, behavior challenges, and substance use/abuse for individuals, youth and families.

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse assesses client health problems and needs. Develops and implements nursing care plans and maintains medical records.

Administers nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients. May advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.

Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse or Multistate license; or One (1) year of experience at the lower level Registered Nurse 1 (HCP070) or equivalent position.
