Registered Nurse (Rn) Preop/Pacu - PRN

We provide cost-effective outpatient services using modern, state-of-the-art technology in a friendly and caring environment by highly-skilled, compassionate staff. WORK SCHEDULE: Days - Vary Day shift only, no nights, weekends, call, or holidays WHAT YOU'LL DO Care for surgical patients as they recover from anesthesia Monitor and chart vital signs, such as heart or respiratory rate, blood pressure, or oxygen level Comfort patients as they wake; may be required to gently restrain patients Check surgical site for excessive bleeding or swelling Educate patients on care for the surgical wound or other post-discharge care.

Cross-train to work in PreOperative area to meet the needs of the unit EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED: One or more years of PACU/Critical Care nursing experience in an ambulatory surgery setting or acute hospital Prior PreOp and PostOp experience in an ASC is strongly desired Graduate from an accredited nursing institution, BSN preferred Current licensure in Virginia as a Registered Nurse Current BLS certification ACLS/PALS certification preferred within six (6) months of date of hire BENEFITS INCLUDE: Student Loan Repayment Assistance Program - up to $10,000 Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage Life & Disability Coverage Flexible Spending Accounts 401(k) retirement plan with a company match Generous PTO and Holiday Pay Tuition Reimbursement
