JOB SUMMARY
Assists with the development of patient care standards, orientation and continuing education,
Evaluates staff performance in accordance with organizational policies,
Participates in nursing quality assurance,
Performs scheduling and maintenance of supplies and equipment,
Uses and understand of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age specific needs and provide age specific treatment and care
Insure that Labor & Delivery and Women Health Units follow all applicable policies, laws and regulations
EDUCATION
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
NJ RN licensure
2-4 years recent/current experience in Maternal Child Health/Mother/Baby experience required
BLS Certification
NRP Certification
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
