Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 / hour, plus shift differential

StoneRidge is seeking part-time Registered Nurses to join our team! You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high-quality patient care. The RN is responsible for the overall nursing care/service on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift.
Administers direct care as necessary.
Administer prescribed medications to patients.
Make rounds to ensure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in residents' condition.
Assists in developing comprehensive care plans.
Other Duties:
Maintains the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident.
Maintains accurate documentation of all care rendered.
Responds to resident emergency call system.
Interfaces with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.
Accompanies physicians when making rounds.
Encourages restorative care in order to obtain maximum resident independence.
Participates in family/resident counseling, as necessary.
Assists with the orientation and evaluation of nursing personnel.
Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
Assures proper functioning of equipment and adequate supplies.
Administers first aid/emergency care to employees when necessary and assesses whether to send the employee off-site or by 911 for additional care.
Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Shares on-call duties with designated staff.
Qualifications:
All nurses must be currently licensed in the State. Must have current CPR certification.
Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields, at least 6 months of nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
Ability to build rapport with patients.
Compassionate and caring demeanor.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Ability to work well in teams.
All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
