Employment Type Full time Shift Day Shift Description At Mercy Medical Center the PACU Unit provides post-anesthesia care to patients and asses their status to ensure they safely regain consciousness, monitor, and look for signs of difficulty breathing, raising blood pressure, hypothermia, and agitation. What You Will Do In this critical role you will assist in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient. Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.

BSN graduate preferred. Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Massachusetts. Certification: BLS (AHA/ARC). ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Requires the ability to practice utilizing ASPAN (America Society of Peri Anesthesia Nursing) recommended standards and practice. Specialty certification preferred. Experience: : Previous Critical Care experience preferred.

Full time – 30 hours- 10 Hour Days – Call Rotation, Flex Start 6:30am to 10:00am Ministry/Facility Information Mercy Medical Center has established itself as one of the leading providers of health care services in Western Massachusetts.
