Currently seeking Telemetry (Tele) Registered Nurses (RN) for a contract position in Fremont, CA. This is a 13-week contract assignment with the 12-hr shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a current CA Nursing License and have at least 2 years of recent Telemetry (Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) US nursing experience as an RN.

Requirements of the Telemetry (Tele) Registered Nurse (RN):

  1. Current Resume
  2. CA Nursing License
  3. A nursing degree from an accredited nursing program
  4. Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry (Med/Tele) nursing experience as an RN
  5. Current BLS and/or ACLS and/or Specialty Certifications
  6. Two current clinical references
  7. Must be able to pass background/urine drug screening
  8. Knowledge of state and federal regulations

Responsibilities of the Telemetry (Tele) Registered Nurse (RN):

  1. Evaluate and oversee patients in the Telemetry (Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) and report to supervisors any changes in condition
  2. Maintain and calibrate Telemetry (Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) equipment for patient safety and support
  3. Administer medications as prescribed by attending Telemetry (Tele) Registered Nurse (RN), the physician
  4. Connect intravenous lines to administer medication and extract samples
  5. Communicate with parents/guardians the plan of care and scope of treatment
  6. Obtain and evaluate test results
  7. Consult with physicians and other nurses on a plan of care, progress, and prognosis
