POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Acute Care Nurse to join our team. As an Acute Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in acute care settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments of patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural needs
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans based on identified problems and goals
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitoring and evaluating patient response to interventions
• Providing education to patients and their families to promote patient empowerment and self-care
• Performing limited laboratory services, such as specimen collection and processing, as required
• Ensuring documentation of all patient care activities according to standards and organizational policies

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which you are applying
• BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• Certification from AHA, ASHI, or Red Cross
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Continued professional and personal growth through participation in educational activities
