Registered Nurse (Rn) - Medical Imaging

Join our dynamic healthcare team in Syracuse, NY as a Registered Nurse specializing in medical imaging. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $70,000-$95,000, relocation assistance, and excellent benefits. You'll play a crucial role in patient care, working with advanced imaging technologies in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients for CT/MR contrast procedures
• Administer IV medications and monitor contrast injections
• Access and de-access ports and PICCs
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during imaging procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families on health management and procedures
• Ensure adherence to healthcare protocols and regulations
• Advocate for patient needs within the healthcare system

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in New York State
• BLS certification through American Heart Association
• Strong IV skills and experience with contrast administration
• Ability to work around 3T magnets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ACLS certification preferred (not mandatory)

Work Schedule

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Potential for overtime
• Per diem opportunities available from mid/late August through January and beyond

Location

Primary location in Syracuse, NY with occasional rotation to our Camillus, NY clinic (15 minutes west of Syracuse). Free on-site parking available.
