Registered Nurse (Rn) Level 1 Trauma Operating Room Weekends

The Tower Operating Room (OR) is proud to serve as a high acuity, fast paced, multispecialty operating room and as Northern Virginia's only Level 1 Trauma facility. We are seeking an experienced OR RN to join our team full-time. Sign on bonus of up to $20,000 is available and relocation assistance to eligible Nurses.

Hours of Operation:

Tower OR is open 24/7, serving as the regions only Level 1 Trauma facility! Therefore, hours will vary and will be discussed/agreed upon based on unit needs at the time of your hire. Nurse must be available to take call and rotate holidays and off-shifts. This position will support our weekend cases working Friday through Monday

Orientation will occur during the weekend and weekend schedule will start once oriented to the unit

Our team is equipped to handle any complex or simple procedure that comes through the door, including but not limited to: Neurosurgery, Spine, Orthopedics, Surgical Oncology, Urology, Plastics, Robotics, Gynecology, Pediatrics, ENT, General, Trauma, Thoracic, Vascular, Dental, OMFS, Colorectal, Hepatobiliary and Transplant! We average 55-75 patients a day.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year direct Operating Room Registered Nurse experience is required

• Multi-specialty trained Operating Room nurse is highly desired

• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.

• RN License to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia

• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required (AHA)

• CNOR and Level 1 Trauma experience encouraged but not required
