The Observation Unit (Obs) at Loudoun Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Part-Time, Days. The patient population consists of cardiac, neurological, medical, and surgical patients.

The Observation Unit (Obs) at Loudoun Hospital is a 27-bed unit with a rapid patient turnover of admission and discharges. The patient population consists of cardiac, neurological, medical, and surgical patients.

Sign-On Bonus Information: This position is eligible for a competitive Sign-On Bonus. Candidates who are relocating 50 miles or further are also eligible for relocation assistance.

Schedule: Part-Time, Days (2- 12 hour shifts)

Requirements: Requires a minimum of 1-year Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting

Minimum Education Requirement: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must be within 1 year of completing their BSN.

Minimum Licensure/ Certification Requirement:

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start.

• Specialty certification (as required by unit) within 1 year from date of hire.

• Completion of revised Charge Nurse Workshop within the first 90-days of employment.
