Day Shift (7AM-7PM)
HVCH is a 25 bed critical access hospital (CAH) with over 325 employees who serve the residents and visitors of Logan, Ohio through various ancillary and 24-hour emergency care services. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
RNs have an incredibly important role at HVCH. We need exceptional, hard-working RNs to ensure our patients receive the best possible care and treatment during their stay at the hospital.
In this position, you will:
Provide the best possible nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients on the unit.
Under general supervision, plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care and functions within the organization, in accordance with established philosophy.
Initiate and implement patient education and care plans.
Accurately and promptly implement physicians' orders and administer medications and intravenous solutions skillfully and correctly.
Display concern, initiative, original thinking, and creativity.
Meet challenges with resourcefulness and generate suggestions for improving work.
Develop innovative approaches and ideas while presenting ideas and information in a clear manner.
Work effectively as a team member in the delivery of care and assist in the orientation of new employees.
Adhere to HVCH's 5 Fundamentals of Service.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Associates's degree at minimum, but a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
RN license issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Current BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association.
