Registered Nurse (Rn) Freestanding ED Cornwall- Day Shift

• Seeking an experienced ED Nurse

• Full Time

• 7AM-7PM with weekend rotation. This role is eligible for sign on bonus and relocation assistance.

• 35-50 patients a day, with approximately 20% pediatric patients

• 4-5:1 patient to nurse ratio

As an Inova Nurse you will:

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.

• Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.

• Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes

• Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

Requirements:

• Requires a minimum of twelve months of Registered Nurse ED experience

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.

• RN licensed, and eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

• BLS via American Health Association required; CEN/ACLS certification desired. Proficient in English.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others. Proficient computer skills required.
