VIEW JOBS 5/9/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-08-07T00:00 We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to: * Ensure quality patient care through practice and the development and mentorship of nursing staff. * Assess staff and clinical practice needs to develop overall programmatic goals and objectives. * Participate in implementing management decisions that affect medical nursing practice. Education: Minimum - * Master's Degree in Nursing Work Experience: Minimum - Three (3) years of relevant clinical nursing experience; clinical expertise in vascular and/or cardiology nursing. Preferred - Experience in academic medical center Licenses and Certifications: Minimum - RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin. BLS Preferred - CCRN and/or APRN-BC, CCNS, ACLS. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: * Knowledge and experience in development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs. * Knowledge of and experience with evidence-based practice * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Physical Requirements: Light: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Work Schedule: This is a Day shift position, Monday through Friday. With eight (8) hour shifts between the hours of 08:00-16:30. No weekend and no holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department.
