Position: The Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department
Shift: Nights (rotating weekends)

Emergency Department oversees and directs the care of all patients presented to the Emergency Department.
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse serves as the primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
The Emergency Room RN oversees and directs the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
Within the first year the RN will have gained basic emergency and emergency department pathways, knowledge, and skill sets.
When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Must have a current Colorado Registered Nurse License (may work on a current RN compact license for the first 180 days of employment).
Current BLS, ACLS certifications through American Heart Association, TNCC or TNS, and ENPC or PALS through American Heart Association required at time of hire.
Demonstrates good organizational skills.
