Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department - .5 FTE (PMs)

Schedule Details: Position involves set rotation of 5 pm shifts within pay period. Includes every other weekend rotation and set holiday rotation.

What You Will Do:

The Clinical Nurse is a competent practitioner who integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical experience in the care of patients and families. Care is delivered using a deliberate, systematic approach and practice is guided by increasing awareness of patterns of patient responses in recurrent situations.

These nurses demonstrate a mastery of most technical skills and begin to view clinical situations from a patient and family focus as they provide professional nursing care within clinical areas/ campuses as required by staffing matrices. These nurses also supervise and direct delegated nursing acts commensurate with educational preparation and demonstrated abilities of the person supervised.

What You Will Need:

Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred

Wisconsin Registered Nurse License

Previous experience working as a bedside RN preferred

Valid American Heart (AHA) Basic Life Support ( BLS) certification.

The patient safety ambassador will be welcoming and confident in the role of safety of our patients, visitors, and employees entering our buildings. Duties Include: * Assessing every person who enters our building (temperature, short questionnaire on health) * Providing everyone with a mask before moving through our buildings * Providing take home bags to place purse or belonging in while in our buildings * Providing handwashing through hand sanitization * Directing patient, visitor, or employee as needed based on their assessment * Managing the physical space by rounding every ½ hour and wiping down high touch surfaces with appropriate disinfectant * Managing supplies and aseptic techniques during their work What You Will Need: * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Demonstrated strong customer relations skills. * Demonstrated strong communication skills. * Experience as medical assistant, C.N.A, EMT, laboratory tech, radiology tech, or another similar clinical background preferred. #LI-MD * CA About Us: Learn more at ProHealthCare.org/Careers.
