Responsibilities

This position is accountable for coordinating all aspects of cardiovascular research studies performed under the auspices of Hillcrest Medical Center. The incumbent ensures studies are carried out, properly monitored, and in compliance with study sponsor rules and other regulatory bodies. Responsibilities include overseeing research-related activities of the Cardiovascular Research Nurses and other clinical staff whose patients are involved in research studies.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required

• Minimum 3 years previous cardiac bedside work experience required

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 5 years previous cardiac bedside work experience preferred

• Post graduate degree preferred

• National Certification preferred-Research Study Coordinator
